Having provided due diligence advice for our client, Resolution Property Advisors, on the acquisition of Thomas More Square, Propitas have now been appointed as Project Manager and Cost Consultant for numerous major construction projects due to take place over the next few years aimed at regenerating the entire estate and transforming it into a vibrant destination.
Thomas More Square is located in London E1 and comprises a 4.2 acre site with six multi-storey blocks providing 570,000 sq ft of office space, as well as several retail units and landscaped areas.
The first project involves Building 6 and comprises the partial replacement of the external facade with a bespoke curtain walling system, addition of a further floor at roof level and complete internal refurbishment. On completion, the building will become the new European HQ for an international architects practice, and is set to be a unique and innovative structure which will become the focus of the estate. Design is underway and completion is due in October 2017.
Also being progressed is a Cat A and B refurbishment within Building 4. The works are on site and completion is due in September 2016.
