Propitas acted for the freehold purchaser of this substantial Town Centre mixed-use development, which comprises 290,000 sq ft and which was constructed in 2003-04. We appointed specialist sub-consultants including Mechanical, Electrical and Structural Engineers and Environmental Consultants to assist with technical due diligence and presented a fully coordinated and unified report to the client.
How Propitas Added Value
Several significant issues were identified as a result of our initial building survey and as a result, specialist sub-consultants were appointed to carry out detailed deign assessments and associated reports. Propitas were then able to present these findings to the client and utilise their Project Management expertise to contextualise those necessary remedial works considered to be necessary. In this way, the client received a true “one-stop shop” of technical expertise and as a result, could comply with the very short exchange timescale requirements and make a commercial decision on whether to proceed with the acquisition.
